Where compassion becomes action

Why Give 'em heaven exists

It didn’t start with a nonprofit.

It started with people.

When Scott and Tina Wilson opened Peak Pickleball, they weren’t thinking about launching another organization. They were building a place — a space where people could gather, move, laugh, compete, and connect.

And then something began happening.

Seniors who had been isolated were showing up multiple times a week, not just for the game, but for the friendships.

Veterans — including those navigating disability — were finding camaraderie again. Families were bringing in teenagers who had started drifting away, and suddenly they were on the same court, cheering each other on.

The game was powerful.
But the community was transformative.

And with transformation came visibility.

They began noticing the quiet stories behind the smiles.

  • A senior on a fixed income who desperately wanted to play but couldn’t afford a membership.
  • A veteran managing physical limitations and financial strain.
  • A family walking through cancer.
  • Someone needing help with a car repair just to keep working.

When you gather people from every walk of life, you begin to see what others might miss.

Give ’Em Heaven was born from that awareness.

The Meaning behind the name

For decades, Scott has carried a phrase with him: “Go Give ’Em Heaven.” This mindset reflects a commitment to bringing hope to those in need and a refusal to let hardship define the tone of a community. While the world can feel harsh and isolating, we can choose to bring something different: generosity, compassion, strength, and grace.

Scott’s background spans entrepreneurship, ministry, athletics, and community leadership. He has built businesses, founded Summit Church in Colorado, served as Chief Chaplain to the Summit County Sheriff’s Department, and established Exchange Ministries to equip leaders both locally and globally, contributing to initiatives like the 100K Club.

But titles have never been the point. The focus has always been on people.

Tina shares that same heartbeat — a deep belief that love must be lived out in practical ways. Together, they’ve spent decades investing in communities wherever they’ve lived, raising four children along the way, and choosing to lead from the front, always ready to support causes that resonate with their values.

WHY A NONPROFIT ALONGSIDE A BUSINESS?

Peak Pickleball is a business. It must operate as one in order to exist.

But the more community grew, the clearer it became: not everyone who needed connection could afford access to it.

Give ’Em Heaven was created as a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit so that finances would not determine belonging.

The two organizations are separate in structure and purpose — but deeply aligned in heart.

Peak Pickleball gathers people.
Give ’Em Heaven makes sure more people can gather.

Through scholarships, wellness access, counseling assistance, practical hardship support, and partnerships throughout Colorado Springs, the nonprofit turns awareness into action.

Give ’Em Heaven exists for the moments that often go unseen — the financial strain, the isolation, the unexpected hardship. It exists so that when life feels heavy, someone doesn’t have to carry it alone. We cannot meet every need, but we can faithfully respond to the ones placed in front of us. That is the kind of community we are committed to building.  Simply put:  when the world says "Give 'em hell," we choose to Give 'Em Heaven.
